Overview
Partnering with a private label brand based around a renowned artist's album launch. The store's primary focus was selling calendars but it also had multiple related products. The client's ads were distinct from the ones created by our team but dont take our word for it, the results speak for themselves.
Targets
Update content being used from carousel and product videos to showing how the product is used inciting similar feelings from creative. Target different interests outside the niche to identify similarities.
FB Before
Ads were being run however the results were not satisfactory. There were areas we identified that could be improved.
FB After
The Plan of action was successfully executed. The amount spent did increase however the sales generated accommodate. The success of the campaigns was due to varying targeting as well as improving the content.
TikTok Before
TikTok's personalized ads are still relatively novel, therefore many companies are either struggling or do not have a clear understanding of how to approach them. This has been FTD's experience.
TikTok After
When done right TikTok can explode your sales, It has the potential to take an empty underperforming store to six figures plus. In this case for every £1 spent the campaign generated £23
Design Solutions
Sometimes the simplest execution is the best. After testing multiple creatives we found that a straightforward flick through of the product at a lower resolution looked natural. It spoke directly to the niche while showcasing the features of the product. The fuzzier camera made it seem like a natural post showcasing the product which surprised the team!
Outcome
The results generated were an outstanding success, we spent approximently £6.5k to generate a revenue of over £80k. The biggest reason for the success of this store was primarily due to TikTok and timing. The store was themed around a trend which meant everyone was already talking about it which made conversions easier. The artist had released a song that went viral, the store essentially used paid advertising to piggy back on the success. This isn't the case for most stores but if it is in line with a trend or the focus of the content creation is to be trending then you can expect similar results.
